I am wondering how will spruce flooring hold up in a high-traffic area?

Steve says: Spruce is a fairly soft wood and would not hold up well on the floor. More durable species would be oak, maple or ash. The pre-finished compressed bamboo flooring we used in our Charlestown project impressed us all with its durability. It was pretty cost effective, too, at about $6.00 a square foot.
