My concrete block cabin needs to be painted. The rounded corner blocks have all crazed. Do I need to use something special before painting to repair these so they don't fall apart?
I've found that prepping the job with a good primer and sureseal like Resene Sureseal is all you need to take care of tricky concrete.
My dictionary defines "crazed" as "characterized by a network of fine cracks".
What exactly is cracked, the concrete blocks?
Also, are you wanting to paint bare concrete blocks, or have these blocks already been painted.
Normally, you paint over paint, and you prime over bare substrates like bare drywall, bare wood, bare metal, bare concrete.
