Why are there extra holes in the deep basin of this sink??? What do I do with these???

Can anybody tell me why there are extra holes in the deep basin of this sink?  What they would have been used for?  I want to use this sink in my house and I only think I would put faucets in the holes in the shallow sink.  Also, do you have a recommendation for something to plug them with?

Rusti,

Those are also for faucets. More of a bucket filler type faucet. That is a really nice looking two basin sink. If you want to cover them so they are not visable at all, You can use body putty along with some stainless steel to fill most of the hole. Then have the entire thing coated again. I am not really sure what you could use other then a second set of faucets in the deep basin. Contact your local plumbing supply, I am sure they have some type of compression plug, but it may not look so good.
